Your mom, Catherine, was a warm and gracious woman whom we feel blessed to have known. We will always remember her prescence at the Anderson Family picnics; in fact she was the central figure at these annual summertime reunions. Her pride in her Scottish heritage, her community and her career as a teacher were important facets of her character. Central and most important was her love and pride of you, her family and the growing generations. It was always so apparent that this love went both ways. Our thoughts are with you at this time of loss. Please take solace in the fact that much of your mom lives within each of you.

Catherine was a wonderful woman, an excellent teacher and one of the gentlest, kindest women I have ever had the pleasure to meet. We taught together for years at the Frank H. MacDonald School and she was universally loved - Catherine was held in the greatest esteem by students, staff and parents. My love and condolences to her friends and family. Catherine was like a second Mother to me, just as her dear sister, Margaret was in the formative years. She embraced everybody, (warts and all) and had a lovely, dry sense of humour. I am so pleased that she had a line up of family and close friends waiting for her on the other side of the 'Brook'. We who are left behind hope to remain in her prayerful watch, as we hold her Loving presence forever in our hearts. May God's richest Blessings be yours, Cathy. P.S. I told you there was no Purgatory!
