Lois came to live with my mother when my Dad was overseas. It was about 1943 she was about 10, and I just one year old. She was with me when we picked up my father of the troop train in Stellarton in 1946. She was a wonderful part of our family. My earliest memory was Lois chasing me out of the ration stamps. I remember her girlfriends gathering at our house chatting, playing board games and making squares that I thought were the most delicious treat ever. She was my aunt, but I was an only child so to me, she was my big sister. Lois was a wonderful person, and I loved her all my life. I will miss our occasional phone chats. My wife Brenda enjoyed very much her brief visits with Lois, and we both offer our heartfelt condolences to the family. Clifford and Brenda MacPherson
