Obituary of Terry Ross Crosby
WESTVILLE – Terry Ross Crosby, 74, passed away, Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his family.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ralph and Jean (MacKenzie) Crosby. Terry was a house painter for most of his life, a talent that he learned from his father, and took great pride in, he also worked at the Chignecto Regional School Board as a custodian. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing cards, especially crib, baking pies, and biscuits, but his true passion was fishing and looked forward to his many long weekend fishing trips whether there was snow or ice still on the ground.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Tracey); daughters, Teri-Lee (Steven) MacKenzie, Saltsprings; Leisa (Jeff) Creaser, New Ross; sons, Tim (Shauna), Central West River; Paul (Paula), Scotsburn; and James H. (Kershaw Mcdonald), Cambridge. Terry is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two more on the way, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Ralph, John, and Roy.
In keeping with Terry’s wishes, a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made in Terry’s memory to The Salvation Army Corps, Westville .
