WESTVILLE - It is with profound sadness that we the family of Melissa Dawn Goodwin, 27, Westville announce her passing at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Melissa was the daughter of Ann Goodwin (Talbot) and the late Stephen (Stevie) Goodwin. Melissa's pride and joy were spending time with her boys, Damian and Joseph, who were her world and loved dearly. She enjoyed family gatherings, tattoos, diamond art, spending time at the beach and listening to music, especially Linkin Park. Melissa was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Surviving are her mother, Ann (Jamie Lloyd), New Glasgow; stepfather Dave Callahan, Westville; sons, Damian and Joseph, Westville; brothers, Harley, Westville; Tony, Coldlake, Alt.; Bruce, Oromocto, N.B.; niece Dakota; maternal grandparents, Stephen (Dorothy) Talbot and paternal grandfather, Jack Cromwell, all of New Glasgow. Besides her father Stephen, she was predeceased by grandmother Shirley Cromwell and grandparents Goat (Kay) Goodwin. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
