I just found out about Charlene's passing and wanted to extend my condolences to Wayne. Charlene was a spirited, helpful soul - always willing to help and always interested in a great conversation. I truly enjoyed my visits with her and Wayne (not to mention the homemade chocolate chip cookies) and I appreciated her help in reuniting me with her brother, Donnie. Wayne, Donnie and I went to East Pictou together and it sure seems like a long time ago when you think back on it. She has now joined her mom, dad and brother in Heaven. My best wishes are extended to Wayne.

I am so sorry to hear about Charlene;s death..I met her while working for P.C.Homemakers...she was always so kind to our clients ..i have not seen her for a few years and not even that often after she stopped working..i will always remember her big smile..may good memories help you all who loved her to move forward..take care

I remember Charlene's passion for politics and voting in elections....voting by secret ballot. She prided herself in saying that "not even Wayne knows how I vote". Because this law was changed this year, she made it her mission to let people know voting should always be secret and we need to have the law changed back for people who cannot get out to the polls. She made her voice heard and I know she would be proud to know she helped many people in this way. Sincere sympathy, Wayne. We have lost a very special person.

I met Charlene many years ago, probably over 40 years ago. I knew her through her time with Girl Guides. I remember when she met Wayne. As Wayne said, Charlene was amazing. She will be missed by so many. RIP sweet girl.

Wayne, I was so sorry to hear about Charlene. I can only imagine your sense of loss. Wayne you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. You were so good to Charlene and were always there when she needed you the most! I have very fond memories of all the great times we had in Elementary school and walking back and forth to each other’s places MANY times!
