NEW GLASGOW - Pearl Ettinger, 62, New Glasgow passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at home. Born in Tatamagouche she is the daughter of Mary Cecilia (Kay) Hape, New Glasgow and the late John Henry Hape. Pearl was kind hearted and cared about those around her. Surviving are her children, Chris Pitts, New Glasgow; CeCe (John) Henderson, Ontario; sister, Elaine (David) Talbot, Little Harbour Road; brothers, John Hape, New Glasgow; Jim (Anne) Hape, New Glasgow; George Hape, New Glasgow; four grandchildren, numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her father she was predeceased by her first husband, John Pitts. There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 5th in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
