Obituary of Quincy Patrick O'Hagan
PICTOU LANDING - Quincy Patrick “Quin” O’Hagan, 89, Pictou, formerly of Pictou Landing, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Northumberland Veterans Unit, Pictou with his wife by his side.
Born in Grand Falls, NB he was the son of the late Herbert and Aurelia (Côte) O’Hagan. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29, Trenton. Quincy served his country with the Royal Canadian Engineers Regiment from 1939-1945.
Surviving are his wife Evelyn (DeWolfe) O’Hagan; brother, Mederick O’Hagan, Chelsey, ON.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Jeertruida “Trudy” O’Hagan; brothers, Al, Ted, Reggie; brother-in-law, Eddie DeWolfe; mother-in-law, Florence DeWolfe.
There will be no visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. James United Church Cemetery, Lochaber Mines, Halifax County.
Donations may be made in Quincy’s memory to Northumberland Veterans Association (Comfort Fund), Pictou.
Quincy’s arrangements have been entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald funeral home, New Glasgow.
