TRENTON – Shayna Margaret Adele Paschal, 27, Trenton, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by her family. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Stephanie Lorraine (Paschal) Kiley and William Roland Ouellette. Prior to ill health, she had been employed with Dollarama, New Glasgow. Shayna graduated from Nova Scotia Community College, Stellarton Campus, in 2010. She was a member of Trenton Church of the Nazarene and Serenity Club, Trenton. Shayna had Cystic Fibrosis, it did not have her. Through faith and a resilient spirit, Shayna sought to encourage others struggling with the disease. Never giving up. Surviving are her mother, Stephanie (Jay) Kiley, Trenton; father, Bill (Sheri) Ouellette, Pictou; son, Noah; maternal grandmother, Karen Paschal, New Glasgow; paternal grandmother, Matilda Ouellette, Hillside; sisters, Rachel, Emily, Abigail and Charley Dawn; brothers, Donnie and Greg; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Donnie Paschal; paternal grandfather, William Ouellette. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan 14th in the chapel with Rev. Leon Teal officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
