Obituary of Raymond Alexander MacIntosh

Plymouth - Raymond Alexander MacIntosh,61, passed away peacefully Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by his family. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Lewis ”Lewie” and Rona (Cottie) MacIntosh. He was a Millwright and worked at Trenton Works for a number of years. Raymond also did auto repair for many years with his brother Norman. The pride and love of Raymond’s life were his children. Surviving are his children, Wendi MacIntosh, Stellarton; Ray MacIntosh (Vanessa Wadden), Westville; sisters; Neilla (Allen) MacLeod, Mountville; Susan Russell, Dartmouth; Laurie MacIntosh, Antigonish; brother, Norman “Rooster” MacIntosh, Plymouth; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his nephew, Sheldon Deyoung. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Monday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to any charity of choice.
