WHITBY, ONT. – Robert William Jenkins, 67, Whitby, Ont., formerly of Bowmanville, Ont. and Trenton, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2013 in The Village of Taunton Mills Nursing Home, Whitby. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Joshua Caleb and Jean Francis (Gladney) Jenkins. Prior to ill health, he had been employed in construction in Ontario. Surviving are his sister, Anne (Bill) MacCulloch, New Glasgow; brother-in-law, John Whytewood, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Jocelyn. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 8 in Hillside Cemetery with Captain Neil Abbott officiating.
