Obituary of Linda Suzanne MacPhee
HOPEWELL – Linda Suzanne MacPhee, 64, Hopewell, passed away suddenly Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Corner Brook, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Debra (Morrel) Nolan. Prior to retirement, Linda was employed with The Evening News for many years and for a brief time with the former, ICT, New Glasgow. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed working on her computer. Linda was a beautiful lady, who devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She possessed a quiet faith and now enjoys her eternal reward.
Surviving are her husband, Jack MacPhee; daughters, Charlene (Daniel) Benoit, Plymouth; Wendy (Vernon “VJ”) Earle, Trenton; sons, Gerry (Tatiana) Joyce, Waterdown, Ont.; Gerald Joyce Jr., St. Thomas, Ont.; John (Barb) MacPhee, Iroquois, Ont.; grandchildren, Kelsey, Brandon, Charity, Arianna, Amanda, Christopher, Paige, Tiffany, Jason and Damian; great-grandson, Noah; sisters, Ann (Norm) Peddle, Corner Brook; Mary (Darryl) Humber, Sutherland’s River; brother, Bill Jesso, Corner Brook; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Stellarton.
