Obituary of George Anthony MacDonald

WESTVILLE – George Anthony MacDonald, 84, Westville, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Mulgrave, he was a son of the late Alexander and Ada (Andrews) MacDonald. George was employed as a welder with the former Hawker Siddeley, Trenton for many years. He was well-known member of the community who will be missed by loved ones and friends. Surviving are daughters, Millie Rector, Noell Alley, Candice MacDonald, Charmaine Butler, Whitney Summers, Wanda Sartoris and Laurie MacLeod; sons, Ronnie MacDonald, Myles MacDonald, Joey Davis and Louie MacLeod; many grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by wife, Jessie; daughter, Natalie; a granddaughter; 17 siblings. A Celebration of George’s life will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday Feb 28th at 67 Old Halifax Road, Westville. Arrangements are entrusted P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
