Obituary of Beverly Ann Cavanagh

NEW GLASGOW – Beverly Ann “Bev” Cavanagh, 66, New Glasgow, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Cobequid Community Health Centre, Lower Sackville. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Carl and Constance Elizabeth “Betty” (Langille) Brownell. She had been employed with WearWell Garments, Stellarton for 20 years, retiring in the early 2000’s due to ill health. Bev loved her family more than life itself. She had a “heart of gold” that will make her memory unforgettable. Surviving are her children, Michelle (Gary) Denny, Pictou Landing; Laurie Langille (Matt Sears), Dartmouth; Chris Langille (Tanya Lyons), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Monica (Robert), Gary (Sylvia), Eric (Rissa), Ashlee (Brian), Travis, Jonathan, Katie; great-grandchildren, Colby, Terin, Kota, Aiden, Joshua and Kaiden. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stewart Cavanagh; daughter, Allison Sharpe; mother-in-law, Helen Cavanagh. There will be no visitation at Bev’s request. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Bev’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
