Obituary of Raymond Wayne Lattie

WESTVILLE – The family of Raymond Wayne Lattie, 57, Westville, sadly announce his passing. Born in Colchester Co., he was a son of the late Clarence Edward and Jennie Durandio (Taylor) Lattie. During his life he had been employed as a maintenance person, carpenter and auto mechanic. He was an enthusiastic member of the C.B. club. He adored his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Lee (Doucette) Lattie; sons, Robert Stanley, Alberta; several step-children; sisters, Anne Marie (Larry) LeBlanc, Peterborough, Ont.; Valerie (Gene) Sutherland, Lower Sackville; half-sister, Shelley (Donnie) Deigel, Truro; brothers, William “Bill” (Lori-Ann) Lattie, Alma; Doug, Edmonton, Alta; Robert “Bobby” (Debbie), Five Islands, Colchester Co.; Lee Smith, St. Margaret’s Bay; grandchildren, Alex (Papa’s little man), Brianna, Connor, Jenna; mother-in-law, Carol Doucette, New Glasgow; numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow with Rev. Helen Christie officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will be in Five Mile River Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
