Obituary of Stanley Allison Cook

WESTVILLE – Stanley Allison “Al” Cook, 67, Westville, formerly of Linacy, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Stanley and Lillian (Munro) Cook. He had been employed in forestry for a number of years. Al enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his sons, Donald “Donnie” (Cathy), Fraser’s Mountain; Phillip “Phil” (Annette), Linacy; Kevin (Allison), Okotoks, Alta.; former wife, Patricia “Pat” (Harvey), Linacy; grandchildren, Nikki, Ryan and Kayla; great grandson, Brayden; sisters, Marion Richards, Westville; Helen (Jack) Taylor, Manganese Mines; Linda (Gordon) Connors, New Glasgow; brothers, Dennis (Sophie), White Hill; David (Pat), Ottawa; many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011 in the Linacy Fire Hall. Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
