TRENTON – Andrew Jeffrey Misener, 49, Trenton, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at home. Born in Coalburn, he was a son of the late Samuel Aubrey and Edna Catherine Pearle (Gratto) Misener. He was a member of First United Church, Trenton. Prior to an injury, he had been employed at Trenton Works. Andy enjoyed fishing, boating, four wheeling and working on cars. He was happiest when spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his daughter, Gina Marie Misener, Linacy; sisters, Jessie (Kent) Carrick, Lansdowne; Luella (Lewis) Pitts, Black Point; Margaret (William) MacDonald, Sutherland’s River; Judy (Leonard) Smith, Linacy; Linda (Monty) MacDougall, Donna Cameron (Gordie MacKinnon), Elsie (David) Finney, Trenton; Heather (Bernard) McKeough, New Glasgow; brothers, Howard (Donna) Misener, River John; James (Joanne) Misener, Halifax; special friend, Margaret Ann; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Charles. The family will receive visitors 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 11th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12th with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Donations may be made in Andy’s memory to any charity of choice.
