Obituary of Kirk Cameron Taylor
NEW GLASGOW – Kirk Cameron Taylor, 20, New Glasgow, formerly of Coldbrook, passed away, Thursday, January 28, 2010.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the Steven Roy Taylor, Westville and Carolyn Elizabeth (Cameron) Taylor (Trent Mercer), Sussex, N.B. Kirk graduated from North Nova Education Centre, New Glasgow in 2008. He was employed with Custom Spring and Welding, Thorburn. Kirkie loved the outdoors, four wheeling in his truck, riding dirt bikes and ATV’s, and spending time at the cottage in Lochaber with his father and grandpa Taylor. He spent many enjoyable hours in papa Cameron’s garage, “apprenticing” under the master mechanic. Kirk was dearly loved by his family and will be missed by his wide circle of friends.
Surviving besides his parents, Steven and Carolyn, are his brother, Brock, Cambridge; sister, Marybeth (Mike), Moncton; papa, Robert “Sonny” Cameron, New Glasgow; grandpa and grandma, Leroy and Katherine (Jory) Taylor, Windsor; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Darlene, Daniel, Jesse and Rebecca.
He was predeceased by his maternal nanny, Dolly (MacIntosh) Cameron.
The family will receive visitors 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Jan 31st in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1st in First United Baptist Church, New Glasgow with Rev. Leo Fletcher officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim Webber-Cook. Interment will be in North Lochaber Cemetery.
