Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Fraser
NEW GLASGOW - Margaret Elizabeth Fraser, 95, New Glasgow passed away, Monday, December 14, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in Marshy Hope, she was a daughter of the late John Frederick and Georgina Elizabeth (Grant) Williams. Margaret was the bookkeeper with the former McKay Heating and Plumbing for 34 years. She was a 65-year jewel holder of Century Chapter No. 10, OES. She embraced life and enjoyed dancing into her late 80s. Margaret attended Sunday school and youth groups in Barney’s River Presbyterian Church, Kenzieville and when she moved to New Glasgow, joined St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, which she attended for many years. Her life will complete a full circle on Friday as she returns to her childhood church where she was presented to God as a child and from where she will be released into the loving embrace of His everlasting arms. Margaret’s family were the center of her life; her brightest smiles were reserved for her grandchildren. She was a loving, energetic, lady who thoroughly enjoyed a fast dance and good game of cards, especially with her Barney’s River family.
