NEW GLASGOW/HALIFAX - Anna Marguerite DeMont, 73, of Halifax, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away at home and at peace, surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Doucette and is survived by her daughters, Mary Ward and Wanda (Michael) O’Neil, both of Halifax. Also left to mourn her loss are her brother, Dan (Delores) Doucette, Kelowna, B.C.; sister, Ruby (Freeman) Coucher, New Glasgow; her most beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Brittany, Sean, Brandon, Ryan and Hayley. She is also survived by her best and lifelong friend, Katherine “Kitty” MacDonald and a most special young man, Jarrett MacDonald. Cremation has taken place.
