Obituary of Aubrey Wayne Coady

TRENTON - Aubrey Wayne “Aub” Coady, 64, Trenton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, surrounded by his family, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ralph Michael “Bud” and Virginia Helen (Ellsworth) Coady. He was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton. In earlier years he was employed with the former Halliday’s, New Glasgow and then owned and operated A.W. Coady Construction. Aub was an avid sports fan, who also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the camp. He dearly loved his family. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Hartling), Abercrombie; daughters, Angie (Tom) Pennington, New Glasgow; Adele (Jason) Elliott, Abercrombie; Annette Coady, Halifax; brothers, Michael Coady, Fraser's Mountain; Jim (Janet) Ellsworth, Stellarton; grandchildren, Jake and Brooke Pennington; Jailyn and Noella Elliott; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; numerous cousins. The family will receive visitors 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, April 9th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10th in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church with Father Gary MacPherson presiding. Donations may be made in his memory to IWK Health Centre Foundation.
