Obituary of Sandra Mae Arsenault

NEW GLASGOW – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Sandra Mae Arsenault, 79, New Glasgow. She passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Halifax. Born in Bras D’Or, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Henrietta Arsenault. Sandra was employed with Michelin Tire, Granton for 31 years, retiring in 2006. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending quality time with family, friends and gardening in her backyard. She was known for her kindness and selflessness, always putting others before herself. She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Surviving are her sons, Steve and Stephen (Annie), Grande Prairie, Alta; Christopher (Carrie), Halifax; nieces, Susan (Paul) Spracklin, N.B.; Anita (David) Cameron, Middle Stewiacke; Lisa MacDonald, Courtice, Ont.; nephews, David (Denise) Arsenault, Halifax; grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Joan, Elizabeth “Betty”; brothers, Basil “Bee” and Sonny. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Bo and Patsy Janes, and Lee Fowler.
