GREENWOOD – Wanda Sherry MacDonald, 62, Greenwood, passed away suddenly Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of Sadie Frances (Browning) Stewart, Greenwood and the late Robert Vernon Stewart. Wanda was office manager with Vincent MacDonald Automotive Limited, Stellarton for many years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Surviving besides her mother, Sadie, are her husband of 40 years, Vince MacDonald; daughters, Angie (Rodney) Misener, MacLellan’s Mountain; Amber (Dale) Johnston, Plymouth; Allie (Derek) Muir, Green Hill; chosen daughter, Catherine Mombourquette, Priestville; grandchildren, Jamie, Dawson, Mia and Ethan Misener; brother, Barry (Judy) Stewart, Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Robert, she was predeceased by her brother, Brian; father-in-law, Vincent. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 in the chapel with Rev. Gail Murdock officiating.
