Obituary of Charles Edward Cameron
EGYPT ROAD - Charles Edward Cameron, 54, Egypt Road, formerly of Big Island, passed away peacefully, Monday, June 23, 2014.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John Edward and Agnes Jean (Haley) Cameron. Charles was a truck driver and heavy duty equipment operator, having previously worked as a welder with Trenton Works for several years. He learned the art of lobster fishing from his father in earlier years, earning the nickname, “Charlie Tuna”. The greatest joy in Charles’ life was his daughter, Kelsey.
Surviving are his wife, Heather (Sutherland); daughter, Kelsey; sisters, Sharon (Ron) Borschyk, Edmonton, Alta.; Janet (Robert) MacDonald, Plymouth Park; brother, Robert “Bob”, Westville; mother-in-law, Frances Sutherland, Alma; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 26 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 27 with Rev. Charles McPherson presiding. Interment will be in Murray’s Point Cemetery.
