Obituary of Jean Paul Maurice Plamondon
NEW GLASGOW-Jean Paul Maurice Plamondon, 72, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Foxbrook, passed away peacefully Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Manor surrounded by his family.
Born in Quebec City, he was a son of the late, Paul and Blanche (Goubout) Plamondon. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Michelin Tire, Granton for twenty six years. Jean Paul was a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Jean Paul loved playing cards with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mildred “Millie” (Ogden); children, Nicole Plamondon (Wayne Huttges), Alberta; Danny Plamondon, Foxbrook; Paul Plamondon (Jennifer McDuffee) Thompson,Man.; Mike Plamondon, Foxbrook; Diane Plamondon, Truro;15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Denise, Louisette and Nicole, Quebec; Jacque (Denise), Fernand (June), Raymond, Quebec; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his grandson, Matthew Chappell; sister, Micheline.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Sunday April 12 in P. &K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday April 13 in Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Bruce Morrison, presiding.
