Obituary of Josephine M. Wilson

FRASERS MOUNTAIN – Josephine M. “Josie” Wilson, 87, Fraser Mountain, passed away, Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Anthony and Elta Theresa Elizabeth (Currie) Ouellette. Josie greatly enjoyed playing bingo. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. Josie leaves a rich legacy of love. Surviving are daughters, Rose (Jim) McKinlay, Linacy; Colleen (Howard) Posti, Eckville, Alta.; June MacPhee (Roy Prest), Westville; Christine Carey, MacLellan’s Brook; Brenda (Richard) Kenney, Priestville; Wanda (Russell) Priest, Blue Mountain; son-in-law, Raymond MacDonald, Coalburn; sister, Christine Anderson, Trenton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Samuel “Sam” Wilson; daughter, Debbie MacDonald; grandson, Neil Samuel Kenney; son-in-law, Russell Carey. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31st with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery with a reception to follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Linacy Fire Hall.
