Obituary of Justin Keith Sartoris MacDonald

SPRINGVILLE/WESTVILLE – Justin Keith Sartoris MacDonald, 26, Westville, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 due to a tragic automobile accident. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Connie Marie (MacDonald) Stewart and Wylie Keith “Bopper” Sartoris. He graduated from East Pictou Rural High School in 2002 and began working in plumbing and heating. Justin loved his family, enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his dog, Honda. He will be fondly remembered for his laugh and ability to socialize. Surviving are his mother, Connie Marie (MacDonald) Stewart (Paul Grant), Eureka; father, Wylie Keith “Bopper” (Wanda) Sartoris, Springville; maternal grandparents, Leslie and Margaret Ann (Dewtie) MacDonald, Stellarton; paternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy (James) Morrison, Thorburn; Tony and Eileen MacDonald, Westville; siblings, Shaila and Tyler Sartoris, Springville; Brandon MacDonald, Churchville; Nicholas Stewart, Lyons Brook; fiancée, Amanda Maxine Melroy, Westville; several aunts and uncles; many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Wylie Keith Sartoris, Sr.; cousin, Todd Dee. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 27th and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 28th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29th in Union Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Interment will be in MacLellan’s Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in his memory to the Pictou County SPCA or any charity of choice.
