NEW GLASGOW – Sherry Corinne Scott, 54, New Glasgow, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, on June 13, 1967, she was a daughter of Norman Arthur and Linda Carolyn (Woodin) Murray. On April 25, 1994, Sherry married her best friend and love of her life, Glenn Scott. Together they raised two beautiful children, their greatest blessings, who they cherish and love dearly. Sherry was employed as a receptionist with Highland Optical (Wagg and MacLeod), New Glasgow for 25 years. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sherry will be dearly missed by all those she loved. Surviving besides her parents, Norman and Lynda, are her husband, Glenn; daughter, Kyra Scott (Justin MacRae), Kentville; son, Tyler Scott, New Glasgow; sister, Angela (Stephen) Stewart, Toronto, Ont.; nephews, Ross and Cameron Stewart, Toronto; aunts, Faye Logan, Upper Musquodoboit; Molly Dean, Middle Musquodoboit; Barbara (Dan) Pitts, Stellarton; Beverly (Orest) Luka, Clairmont, Alta.; Linda Murray, Hopewell; Leola Woodin, Upper Musquodoboit; uncles, Ernest (Evelyn) Murray, New Glasgow; Roy Murray (Linda), Pictou Landing; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Tony) Lorenz, Green Hill; Audra (James) Stewart, Stellarton; brother-in-law, John Scott (Bonnie), Hopewell; many cousins.
