Obituary of Pauline Marion MacDonald

FRASERS MOUNTAIN - Pauline Marion MacDonald, 89, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Frasers Mountain, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the manor with her daughter, Cathy and nieces, Sharon and Donna, by her side. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Winnifred (Doyle) Davidson. Pauline owned and operated the former Coffee Pot in New Glasgow for many years, having begun working there at the age of 13. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy MacDonald, Frasers Mountain; grandsons, George (Robyn) Leil, Frasers Mountain; Ryan (Kaylin) Leil, New Glasgow; great-grandchildren, Ryan Jr., George Jr., Carson, Davey and Gabe; brother, Bill (Arlene) Davidson, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John H. MacDonald, great-granddaughter, Morgan Leil; son-in-law, John Sheehan; siblings, Edgar, Kenny, Ralph, Weezie, cherished sister, Isabel. No visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to Glen Haven Manor Recreation Fund.
