Dr. MacIntosh was a mentor, friend and role model for me in my formative years. His quite caring towards others, both patients and colleagues was notable. He guided me through difficult times and was very supportive of me, providing me with opportunities, I would not have had otherwise. I was able to go to him as a friend and he and Nadia made us feel welcome when we came back to Halifax. He was well respected as a good and caring clinician, who one could trust because of his humility and being so responsible. We are better for knowing him. My condolences to his family and you and he will be in our thoughts and prayers.
