Obituary of Angela Marie Feit
PRIESTVILLE – Angela Marie “Angie” Feit, Priestville, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 9, 2020, on her 50th birthday, in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 9, 1970 in New Glasgow, she is a daughter of John Joseph and Charlotte Marie (MacLeod) MacDonald. Angie was employed with Sobeys Inc., Stellarton, and previously had been employed with Trinity Maintenance Solutions, SR ProActive Health Physiotherapy Ltd. and with the former Bell Aliant/Maritime Tel & Tel for 25 years. Angie was an avid sport enthusiast, a loyal Montreal Canadian’s fan and over the years, she played softball, ringette and soccer. She was a great supporter of her girl’s hockey and judo teams and volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pictou County. For Angie, “Life has changed; not ended!”
Surviving are her husband, Craig; daughters, Heidi (Chris) Gregory, Lower Sackville and their daughter, Rayne; Lindsay Feit (Jethro Gunn), Fredericton, N.B.; sister, Millicent (Ashley) MacHattie, Coalburn and their daughter, Ashtyn; brothers, Geordie MacDonald (Tarolyn Aaserud), Medicine Hat, Alta. and his children, Jordan, Evan, Lillian and Grace; Joey MacDonald, Westville, and his children, Noah and Madeline; “like a mother”, aunt, Anne MacLeod, Thorburn; mother-in-law, Martha Feit (Kenny Allard), Walkerville; sister-in-law, Lynn (Jim) Duggan, Walkerville and their children, Jillian and Jenna; brother-in-law, Darrell (Rosalind) Feit, Walkerville; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dan and Harriett (Murphy) MacLeod; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Margaret MacDonald; father-in-law, Charles “Buddy” Feit.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 13th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Thorburn at a later date.
