Obituary of Allister Wayne MacDonald
TRENTON – Allister Wayne “Big Al” MacDonald, 57, Trenton, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, January 8, 2018 with his family by his side.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Spurgeon Francis “Spurge” MacDonald, Green’s Point, and the late Goldie Linda (Burgess) MacDonald.
Surviving are fiancé, Tamara Polley; Pictou Landing Road; father, Spurge, Green’s Point; sisters; Debbie MacDonald; Sharon MacDonald; both of Trenton; brother, Edward “Eddie” (Mary), Green’s Point; chosen children, Alana and Johnathan Langley; Fred, Jessie James, and Claude Polley; fur baby, Smokey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his brother Ricky “Red Rider”.
The family will receive visitor’s 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 10th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 11th in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Christ the King Cemetery.
