Obituary of Beatrice Louise Jack

RIVERTON – Beatrice Louise Jack, 82, Riverton, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tatamagouche, she was a daughter of the late Randolph and Florence Ester (Myers) Brown. Surviving are her daughters, Donna Jack, Eureka; Linda (Jim) Chambers, Plymouth; son, Rev. Hugh Jack, Lethbridge, Alta.; grandchildren, Lindsay Chambers and Ryan (Larissa) Chambers; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Riley; nieces, Hazel Langille, Sheila Stewart and Florence Douglas; nephew, Bill Weatherbie and Rick Douglas; and her beloved cat, Zoey. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Milford Austin “Buster” Jack; sisters, Leona (Donald) Weatherbie and Ida (Carson) Douglas; brother, Arthur Brown. A private graveside service will be held with her son, Rev. Hugh Jack, officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in memory of Beatrice to the Pictou County Victorian Order of Nurses or Pictou County SPCA. Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K.
