FRASER’S MOUNTAIN – Ralph Michael “Mike” Coady Jr., 56, Fraser’s Mountain, formerly of Loch Katrine passed away suddenly due to a traffic accident on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ralph Michael “Bud” and Virginia Helen (Ellsworth) Coady. He owned and operated Mike Coady’s Drywall for 36 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing darts. Mike’s children and granddaughter meant the world to him. Surviving are his common-law partner, Mary Rose; daughter, Chelsea Coady(Scott Goshulak) , Edmonton, Alta.; son, Christopher “Chris” Coady (Mehrnaz Kobari) , Vancouver, B.C.; brother, Jim Coady (Janet Ellsworth), Stellarton; granddaughter, Haleigh Coady; former wife, Heather MacCara, Sherwood Park, Alta.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; numerous, cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Aubrey “Aub” Coady. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, August 22nd in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Monday, August 23rd in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton with Father Gary MacPherson presiding. Donations may be made in his memory to IWK Health Centre Foundation or the Pictou County SPCA.
