Florence and Family I met Dave at the Institute of Technology as a member of the Mechanical 7. He and Ken Fry were constantly comparing cars and race relults. and it's good to see that he continued one of his passions.Dave had a good laugh at a reunion when FRY told the story of going off the highway in ontario @ 80 mph backwards in a Mustang . My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was at Trenton Works inspecting new railroad cars for Norfolk Southern when David came to me, welcomed me to Nova Scotia and told me he had been in Virginia earlier for a Tattoo in Norfolok where Florence's Pipe Band had performed (I had never met David before this). I had attended that Tattoo, unbeknownst to him until then. I liked him immediately and we became friends. Since then we have worked together at "The Works", attended a couple of Tattoos, had meals together and generally done what friends from distant locations do - share emails. There are so many good things that can be said about Divid , and no bad things. That's a great testimony to him. I treasure his friendship - still do, because we'll see each other again. David was a gentleman of the first order - a special person. Florence is, likewise, a lady of the first order. See you later my friend. Bob Grimsley Catawba, VA USA
