Obituary of Barbara Ellen Webster
WESTVILLE ROAD - Barbara Ellen “Barb” Webster, 74, Westville Road, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the comfort of her home, surrunded by the love of her family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Reginald Luke and Ellen Elizabeth (Teed) MacLeod. Barb enjoyed the companionship of her fur babies, PK and Sid. She found immense pleasure spending time with her family, camping, shopping and going for walks. Barb was a gentle soul, who was full of grace and kindness – “to know her was to love her”. Throughout her life, she faced many health challenges during which she never complained. Barb’s strength and courage was an inspiration and model for her loved ones. Her legacy is her personification of unconditional love.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Nolan Webster; daughters, Cindy Webster (Brent), Valley; Kerri Webster-McIsaac (Wayne), Fall River; Stacy Webster (Chris), Bible Hill; sons, Robert Webster (Bonny), Lower Barneys River; Darren Webster (Jasmine), Stellarton; Todd Webster (Melissa), Bible Hill; grandchildren, Morgan (Justin), Ettnie, Ella, Charlotte, Cailean, Gracie, Andrew, Emma, Alison, Katy, Logan and Emma; brothers, Reg (Sharon) MacLeod, Loch Broom; Doug MacLeod, Abercrombie; Rod MacLeod, Linacy; sister-in-law, Zeana Hollis, Abercrombie; Betty MacDonald, Plymouth; brother-in-law, Ray Webster, Munroe Avenue Extension; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Mabel Hayden; brother, Robert “Bob” MacLeod; sister-in-law, Marilyn MacLeod; brothers-in-law, Tom Hayden and John Webster
In honour of Barbara’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
The Webster family wish to thank the entire liver transplant team at the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax. They wish to especially thank Dr. Kevork Peltekian for his expertise, kindness, and concern over the past 26 years.
