TRENTON – Freda Mary Joyce, 83, Trenton, passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late James David and Margaret Hyslop (McLeod) Perry. Prior to retirement, Freda was a secretary at York University, Toronto. Surviving are her daughter, Jamsene M. (Ralph), Toronto, Ont.; sons, David R., Andrew C., Trenton; sisters, Adelyn “Tookie” Pettipas, Sydney; brothers, Thomas “Tommy” (Marge) Perry, Toronto; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Alice and Jean; brothers, Jack, David and Andrew. There will be no visitation at Freda’s request. A private graveside service will be held. Donations may be made in Freda’s memory to The Salvation Army.
