PINE TREE - L. Ferne MacLeod, 73, Pine Tree, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 10, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Telford she was a daughter of the late Alexander “Alex” and Catherine Mae “Cassie” (Browning) Woolley. She was co-owner operator of A&F Catering for a number of years. Ferne had also worked in various business in the county. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are husband of 53 years, Ernest “Ernie”; daughter, Glenda MacLeod (Darrell Wilcox), Lwr. Barney’s River; Elden MacLeod (Marie Boutlier), Blue Mountain; Sheldon (Julie) MacLeod, Telford; grandchildren, Chantal, Melissa, Jenelle, Jamie, Kyle and Brittney; three great–grandchildren; sister, Mariena Whidden, Trenton and sister–in-law, Martha Woolley, Telford. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Locke Woolley. Private graveside service will be held in Telford Cemetery. Donations may be made in Ferne’s memory to The Lodge That Gives.
