Stellarton – Juaneta Eileen Hubbard, 78, Jubilee Avenue, Stellarton, passed away peacefully Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Wallace, she was a daughter of the late Bligh and Katherine (Angevine) Smith. Juaneta’s family were very important to her. Surviving are daughters; Terry (Michael) Picard, Montreal, Que.; Carolyn, Montreal; Joanne (Ben) Hubbard, Stellarton; son; Roy Jr., Montreal; brothers; Jerry (Karen), Nfld.; Hazen (Eleanor), Smith, Pictou; grandchildren; Michael and Veronica, Matthew and Christopher, Janet, Debra and Corey; several great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; brother, Harold and Howard. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, September 14th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held in Montreal at a later date. Donations may be made in Juaneta’s memory to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit. The family wish to give special thanks the staff of the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care and ER Units, Dr. Farrell, Dr. Park, Debbie Williams, RN and Cathy MacLean, for their kindness.
