It is with such sadness that I write to all of you. Aunt Tootie was a rare treasure. I will forever hold dear my memories of time spent with her in her Toronto apartment. Our 'sleepovers' were full of giggles, great food, recipe sharing, television, shopping, and quality time together. She was so full of life and always entertained with talk of dancing, socializing, and requests for the song 'Knock 3 Times'. I'll never forget the thrill of seeing her pull into our driveway with Uncle Eddie at the wheel of the Winnebago, or of her stepping off the train for her much anticipated visits. She was a beautiful lady from the inside out and she could light up a room with her very presence. She had an incredible sense of family and deep love for all of us. It is comforting to know that she is now with her one true love. I loved her dearly and will miss her and our talks immensely. Love and hugs to all of you. I will see you tomorrow. xo Francine
