Obituary of Charles Maynard Carroll
NEW GLASGOW – Charles Maynard “Chuck” Carroll,56, New Glasgow passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Toronto, Ont., he is the son of Theda (Lynds) Carroll, Bridgewater and the late Charlie Carroll. He was employed in construction most of his life, most recently, Trenton Works Punch and Shear Department and in Northern Alberta Oil Fields as Journeyman Steamfitter. He was a sports enthusiast, avid card player (crib and 45’s) and a member of the New Glasgow Bombers Club.
Surviving besides his mother are sister, Rena (Alan) Reinhardt, East Port Medway, Queens County; nephews, Josh, Joel and Kyle; uncles, Fulton (Rosalie) Lynds, Ont.; Harry (Linda) Lynds, Truro.
The family will receive visitors 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 15th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel when a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Interment of ashes will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 16th in Aenon Baptist Cemetery, North River.
