Obituary of Fraser Wayne Snell

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C./ SCOTSBURN – Fraser Wayne Snell, 56, Williams Lake, B.C. and Scotsburn, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Williams Lake. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Frederick John and Charlotte Vivian “Lottie” (Rice) Snell. Fraser was co-owner and manager of F & M Cleaning Services. He enjoyed camping and playing guitar. Surviving are his partner, Mary Rodler; daughter, Mysty (Jason) Graham, Scotsburn; sons, Chris (Litocha), Merigomish; Nicholas (Vanessa Routhier), Alta; sisters, Louise Powell, Alta; Marianne (John) Stewart, Laggan; Mabel (Ron) Walker and Jean Snell, New Ross; Sharon (Fred) Grealey, New Glasgow; Virginia (Wade) Rafuse and Mildred (Royce) Leopold, New Ross; brothers, Donald (Nancy), Sutherlands River; Barry (Rhonda) and Keith (Shirley), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Joshua, Lukas and Chloe; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Fred; many half-sisters and half-brothers. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Gunn Cemetery, Six Mile Brook. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
