Obituary of Clarence Oather Gould

NEW GLASGOW – Clarence Oather Gould, 74, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 7, 2017 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Stanley Pinch and Irene (Clattenberg) Gould. He was a salesman for TRA Atlantic from where he retired due to ill health. Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family and friends camping in Digby. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Surviving are wife, Charlene (Pippy), Hopewell; sons, Greg (Susan) Trainor, New Glasgow; Blaine (Tram Anh) Trainor, Montreal; daughter, Lori Anne Gould, Bridgewater, grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia, Amy and Jerry and Brandon, and their mother, Cathy; sisters, Marsha, Windsor; Joyce, Trenton, Ontario. Besides his parents, Clarence was predeceased by son, Kurt; brother Leo; sisters, Evelyn and Norma. The family will receive visitors 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, July 10th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Donations in Clarence’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
