HALIFAX – Alan Russell Fraser Everett Johnstone, 24, Halifax, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Lolita (Cromwell) Ward and the late John Alan Johnstone. Alan was an amateur rapper and enjoyed rapping for his online audience. He was a polite young man, who enjoyed music and hanging with his friends. Alan always took responsibility for his actions and loved his family dearly. Surviving besides his mother, Lolita (Kevin) Ward, Hopewell, are daughters, Avery and Serenity, Halifax; siblings, Ashlee, Jacquelyn, John Thomas, Sara, Tarra, Hannah Jane, Chantelle; Raven, David, and Steven; maternal grandfather, Jack Cromwell, New Glasgow; maternal grandmother, June Mingo, Stellarton; great-grandmother, Audrey Coady, Stellarton; many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Besides his father, John Alan, he was predeceased by his sister, Hannah Grace; paternal grandparents, George and Jackie (Langille) Johnstone. A private service will be held.
