NEW GLASGOW – Margaret Laureen “Laurie” Livingstone, 60, New Glasgow went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Sunday, November 25, 2012. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Pentz) Works. In earlier years she had worked for Maritime Tel & Tel and Kmart. She enjoyed baking, reading, crocheting and spending time with her cat, Snoop. Laurie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Robert “Bob” Livingstone; daughter, Stacey Livingstone (Tim Hatt), Stellarton; son, Jeremy Livingstone (Alicia Anderson), Stellarton; grandson, Colin; sisters, Linda White, Beverley Works, Stellarton; Marie (Dale) MacLeod, Green Hill; brother, Brian (Cathy) Works, Vancouver, B.C.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Haley Dawn Anderson; brother, Howard Works; brother-in-law, Robert ‘Bob’ White. There will be no visitation at Laurie’s request. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov 28 in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow with Stan Allan officiating. Donations may be made in Laurie’s memory to her family.
