Obituary of Ralph Everett Mason
TORONTO, ONT. – Ralph Everett Mason, 91, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, passed away, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Centre.
Born in Greenwood, Pictou Co., he was a son of the late Dearold Dearing “Dell” and Lida Lee (Clarke) Mason. During the Second World War, Ralph served as a gunner in the Royal Canadian Navy.
Surviving are children, Clyde (Lorraine), Gail (Gerry) and Jane; sister, Thelma; sister-in-law, Pat; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Harriett; brothers, Willard in infancy, Shirley and Harold; sister-in-law, Jean; brother-in-law, Grant.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 in Hatties Cemetery, Avondale with Linda MacDonald officiating.
Donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Hatties Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
