Obituary of Lynda Rose Koile
TATAMAGOUCHE - After a long illness, Lynda Rose (Taylor) Koile, age 78, passed away peacefully at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche, NS. She went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday September 27.
Born and raised in Afton, Antigonish County NS, she trained as a Lab Technician at St. Martha’s Hospital. She lived and worked in Inverness, NS, Sydney NS, Toronto ON, eventually moving back to Nova Scotia to raise her family of eight children and make music. Lynda was best known to many as a loving mother, a compassionate woman of great faith in her Lord and Saviour and a prolific and talented songwriter. Her music touched the hearts of everyone who heard it. Along with a number of recordings and radio hits, she wrote scores of songs for her earthly family and her church family and brought the joy of music and faith to so many people over the years. Her musical gift will continue to lift and inspire many for years to come.
She is preceded by her parents, Leonard Wilfred Taylor and Laura Belle (Rhynold) Taylor and her brother Czerney (Terry) her sisters Karmel and Heather, granddaughter Charly and niece Ashley. She leaves behind her children Robert Wolf (Corrie Anderson) Lochiel Lake NS, George Wolf (Nicole Mackenzie) White Rock, BC, Julie Wormington (Lee) Whitby ON, Jeremy Wolf, New Glasgow NS, Selah Koile (Bruno Allard) Kentville NS, Joshua Koile Vancouver BC, Judah Koile (Jiwon) Los Angeles CA, and Mary-Grace Koile Montreal PQ, Grandchildren Kataryna, Alex, Aaron, Aiden, Rachel, Sean, Taylor, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Aleesha, Anna, Gibson, Heaven, Vada and Rumi as well as Great Grandchildren Elora, Julianna, Gabriel, Arabella, Jasper and Lilian.
She also leaves behind her beloved Taylor clan, sisters Joyce, June, Marion, Dorothy, Barbara, Iris, Sandra, Laurel and brothers Bryan and Daryll, their partners, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and community are invited to visitation on Sunday September 30 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Christian Fellowship Church, 489 Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow Nova Scotia. Celebration of Life Service, hosted by her family, will occur on Monday October 1 at 11:00 AM at Christian Fellowship Church. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Barney’s River at a later date.
