LINACY – Emily Elizabeth “Em” (Nicholls) Webb, 85, wife of William Webb, Linacy, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, March 7, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late George and Agnes Nicholls. Em was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her greatest love was her family. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, William; daughters, Carol (Gary), Sue, Donna (Steve), Debbie (Alan), Juanita (Karleen), Susan (Billy); sons, Brian “Butchie” (Caroline), Tommy, William (Edna), and Bobby; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Shirley); sisters, Margaret and Patsy. Em is predeceased by sisters, Edna, Dorothy, Sadie; brothers, Bill, George; great-granddaughter Jessica. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 9th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home New Glasgow from where Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10th in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Thorburn Cemetery. Donations may be made in Em’s memory to any charity of choice.
