ST. PETER, Barbara Ann,“Barb” - 66, Plymouth, passed away peacefully October 17, 2010 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joggins, on November 13, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Reginald and Pearle Roselle (Henwood) Comeau. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Joggins. Barb enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, and experiencing nature. The love of her life was her family. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Alfred “Alfie”; son, Jeffrey “Jeff ”, Plymouth; sisters, Theresa (Wilfred) McEachern, Oromocto, N.B.; Carol (Wayne) Wilson, Joggins; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Comeau; nephew, Kenneth McEachern. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. Interment will follow in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester. Family flowers only.
