AVONDALE – Carl Lawrence MacLeod, 73, Avondale, passed away, March 15, 2017, with his wife by his side. Born in Avondale, he was a son of the late Daniel Edward and Marion Eileen (Higgins) MacLeod. He was a carpenter and woodsman, enjoying spending as much time as possible in the woods. He was an avid hunter and a member of the North American Hunting Club. Carl is survived by his wife of 48 years, Theresa (O’Laney); sons, Paul (Stephanie Swain), Avondale; Joseph (Myla Jenkins), Oromocto, NB; sisters, Louise Manning, Toronto, Ont.; Peggy Huggan, Trenton; brothers, David (Ruth), MacPherson’s Mills; Harold, (Gloria), Springville; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lawrence, Damian, Morrigan, Onelia, Charles; great grandchildren, Ethan, Logan, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Michael, Mark, brother, Danny. In keeping with Carl’s wishes his family will celebrate his life privately.
