Obituary of Madge Ruby Ebrahim
BROOKLIN, ONT./NEW GLASGOW – Madge Ruby Ebrahim, 75, Brooklin, Ont., formerly of New Glasgow and South Africa, passed away, Friday, February 10, 2012 in Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, surrounded by her family.
Born in Cape Town, South Africia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Henry Cecil and Anne Maria (Paulsie) George. Surviving are her sons, Jeremy, Robin, Art, Gavin and Paul; grandchildren, Jeremy, Andrew, Jerica, Jillian, Justin, Rashaad, Ila Maria, Alysha and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Logan, Caleb and Brayden; sisters, Sybil, Joyce and Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Edward Ebrahim. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
